Profitable companies shouldn’t be getting tax perks anyway. That shit should be reserved to support beneficial industries that aren’t yet financially viable but we hope will be with public investment.

Main reason for lowering taxes for large companies is because they will supposedly use that extra money to start new businesses and hire more employees, thus lowering unemployment (also because they use the money for bribes).
