In America you're lucky if you make a living wage; too few of us build anything such as a thriving wage. This is unacceptable and unsustainable.

I think one of the issues is people expecting the economy to accommodate them, and have a job available. But I think if we prioritized useful skills in schools, not only would we be more self sufficient, big box stores and fast food places would dry up and die.
