How does the string stop you stirring it?

It wraps around the spoon. It's very annoying.

Don't stir. Steep.

Loop the string through the mug or cup handle so it's detained and the bag is flush against the cup. Then stir the water with the bag still at the side.

How is this not common sense

But when it's stuck to the side it doesn't let the tea out. It needs to be able to have water swirled through the bag.

Cut the string. Or chew it or something if you’re in a hotel.

Pull the string off, it's what I do.

Then the bag might split apart!

Don't you let it steep before adding milk?
