Only my 4th day working here… mind you, I’ve not once done a role resembling this before
I honestly feel like they be setting people up for failure because how do you anticipate me to do ALLLL of this with the approach the routes are set up, all the moment having to BACKTRACK (Don’t even get me started on the slow GPS either) in x Amount of time? Had so much it was insane 😭😭

That’s like 7 bags 😂 you gone be wishing for this back
Eyes my normal of 4 or 5 (I deliver to the countryside where I cross nearly a third to half the state doing deliveries)
It was 13 bags lol
And that loadout will double and even triple once you’re done with your nursery routes.
yeah just walls of totes falling over
Hey man don’t listen to all the clowns in the comments. Dont stress yourself out take a deep breath and think. If its your first time doing a job like this learn to navigate using the map on your ev and your phone its not as easy as people think especially once you get to apar...
This isn't shit compared to what you'll see down the line. Honestly, would have prayed for days with routes like this. How many bags and overflow total?
13 bags over flow was like 20plus?
It's a problem with the way Amazon does training. The classes don't prepare you at all for the app issues, and your one day of ORE, the driver trainer they assign might not show you how to organize properly. Two recommendations, take it or leave it. 1. Organize your overfl...
Nah I agree but disagree at the same time. When I’m opening a new tote, I only organize the packages until I find the one need for the current stop. During load out try to open 2 totes and organize them if you have space that day. That way you’re starting off strong with you...
You will get better. My first week maybe I remember coming back at 930. They were like COME BACK SKIP THE GAS. Months down the line I was able to be ahead by like 60-70 stops routinely. And now even further down the line I've learned to pace myself to be done to get my ful...
This looks like an easy route?😭 just use the mapping system to not backtrack it makes it so much easier
HATE THE GPS ROUTE THE WAY WE HAVE TO BACK TRACK IS RIDICULOUS
This looks easy AF my routes are 17+ totes with 40 overflow daily 🤣🤣
any tips? im training this week i worked for like three months a few years ago so it's been a while but i remember i was struggling after nursery too (i left for a diff job at the time)
Oh, if you think it's bad now... That looks like about half of what I normally go out with. Maybe even less.
Almost every amazon driver has never had a job like this before. It's overwhelming at first and not everyone is cut out to do it. That's ok, It takes a special kind of sicko to make it past training. It does get better and you learn the ropes or you will find out it isn't for ...
I am fascinated by this sub it’s also the reason I’ll offer a Gatorade and a pack of chips every time I get a delivery. Or leave it on the porch with a note.
You will be fine, I remember my first day was 167 stops and before we got in to the van the girl training me was like today its going to be easy you should be getting a nursery route. Lol
You’re just a number to them
Oh yeah, this job isn’t for the weak 😅
Bro seen the replies and quit on the spot 🤣
DONT GO FAST
Exactly
I know it seems like a lot but before you know it you’ll be knocking out your routes a hour or two before that finish by time
Dude don't worry about the clock what matters is your analytics. Do not speed, do not pass stop signs. It's critical your packages get delivered not that you do it in less than 10 hours. If you have great analytics and you work 12 hours they dsp will be happy.
Your new so this going to help you out in the long run just do the job catch your flow don’t rush move at steady pace let them send rescue don’t kill yourself
Drive like half the speed limit. Glance far ahead. Know the number of the building before you drive to it and look out for it so you don’t pass. Safety above all else.
this is a lot for anyone to start up. and 95% of every “training” class don’t make it passed a week. you either figure out a way to do it quick or you don’t. there is not a specific way to do (although there has to be if some people manage to get it done) without “bending the ...

Honestly just take it one stop at a time I timed out My first 2 weeks but now I'm finishing up before schedule. Don't be afraid to ask for help form your dsp or the other drivers I have learned some nice tricks that made my life easier of time.
Oh yeah, you might as well quit now lol. You’re going to have a miserable time if you think this is too much. People at Amazon pray for routes like this 💀💀💀💀💀
Ooh…my sweet summer child lol…pro tip…don’t run the faster you get the route done the more Amazon will pile onto you.
You should be a helper, for just one day. everything you’re worried about will change. I don’t even give a fuck if my bags are in order anymore. Only thing I kind of wanna know where it’s at is my overflow. I also have to have it organized, even if it’s stacked on top of each ...
Not easy when you have 5 heavy ass overflow and you gotta bring that shit up three storys
my 4th or 5th day i had to deliver 21 cases of fiji water. that was one stop. on a 130 route stop.
Dog… try 22 totes, and 38 overflow, even that ain’t much compared to what I’ve seen other people get, it’s a learning process, you gotta look at it with a good mindset, cause your route may be shit, but some people get it even worse
Did that shit for 4 years and it got me no where besides a fucked up back and knees, I’m 39 now, the money was ok but not for the amount of work they throw at us we should be making $30-40 an hour. I would go back if the money was right. But nope because they still underpay yo...
Take your time and fuxx your DSP.
If it's a busy day like weekend shifts because the route AI jumbles a lot of zones together due to reduced businesses, I will look at my map frequently and go out of order where it makes sense. Some of these created routes are designed for veteran drivers who are already fami...

Just take your time my guy don’t rush it if you need help they’ll send you a rescue don’t stress it it just takes some time to adjust
People in here acting like they’re super hero’s and shit chill out
The gps is stupid slow, but from work with the gps it may seem like backtracking but it’s logistically correct if there’s certain packages that have a time commit so its done in a way that makes no sense to many. But if youre in neighborhoods with multiple stops on the same st...
Just go to say nice profile pic
Just make the route yourself duh
Bro i had 19 bags today. Almost 400. I'm a girl and i never did this before until i did it. That ain't shXt
Drive to problem solve put everything on the shelves synchronize 3 bags put the over flow in order on the other side snack on the go skip lunch stay light consume black coffee stay on the move
I will give you this your van looks better the 75% of the drivers already

lol nursery route much?
First time ever doing this so yeah I’d say this one was. Plus the way we have to backtrack, absolutely

Wait till you get 27+ totes and 60+ overflow
bro wait until u got the whole left side of bags, and like 3 on the right with 45 overflow. lmk how that goes
I’ve been getting 17 bags the last few days with 20+ over size boxes
Yeah, it's still kinda the slow season right now
I haven’t worked for Amazon for about a year. I took time off mentally because I was freaking exhausted. I honestly think they fired me with out letting me know (which is fine since it was my second my job) But I remember always being frustrated with full vans and crazy rout...
Speaking as a driver of 5 months who uses this van, that picture is a blessing from your dsp. The left side of it will be all totes soon. You’ll probably have two extra totes on the floor or stacked 2 high on the upper shelf and about 30-35 overflow that’s like a best case sce...
This is why I don’t drive the transit vans. I could do this route easily in a CDV or a step-van, but the fucking second I have to put it in these kiddie vans, I crumble.
You're load out is the most important part, your over must be organized in order, work each tote from the passenger seat ,have your next stop identified, or else you will hear recalculate
Prepare for next week 😁
Bad days are when you have a lot of overflow. Trust me. Not a lot of overflow is automatically a good day
That’s not even a lot 😂 just lazy
Just lazy? Girl bye lol 😂😂
I get 350 packages ( 30-40) overflow everyday . Wanna trade?
Just wait til you get 23 totes and 30 overflow in that van
That was me on my second day and not to mention the In-N-Out of the truck will kill your knees. You will feel as though you have climbed the wall literally, good luck and oh yeah since then I have gave them my resignation.
