TSA Employees - The Struggle is Real.
I am aware the shutdown impacted me financially so I can sympathize… yet I also know the “mother agency” has lots of $$$$$….. how about they provide a lifeline for these men and women who are showing up and working without fork over… gas is up, daycare sI learnedl exists and groceries remain high… I ended up with no sympathy from the “public“ so I don’t think this is gonna go over well

Someone I know that called out sick today, and he was read a nasty script accusing him of failing and refusing to work. I highly recommend everyone calling out when you feel sick. It would sure be awful if something contagious was spreading.
In shutdowns prior to Trump 2.0 management did provide food and gas cards to people. However, it’s definitely changed this time around. It’s like they want to make people hate it there even more so they will quit.
Look at Trump bringing the American people together, challenging the public to pick up the slack for the failing federal government. /s

All I am pointing out here is if you want stuff to function, pay your workers. No pay no work. Dont ask people to show up and they still are incurring work and living related expenses with no lifeline. The govt can stay shutdown it’s only a small fraction…
The only part of the government that's shut down now is DHS minus ICE which has separate funding from BBB. The other 11 approps bills were passed to fund agencies through September.
Several airports have done this during past shutdowns. It's a sad reality.
Please, please, please send in those donations so airport and carrier executives can continue to accumulate wealth disproportionately to the rest of the country. God bless.
This is infuriating. If anything people should be helping TSA employees get other jobs that actually pay and value them.

Reach out to the airport of ur choice. They are all advertising for donations of gift cards for groceries and gas. Facebook is running groups with the same ask.
