Fault McDonald's Not Me

Dude gave me a delivery with a PIN number. Mentioned he would be outside. Show up and no one's visible. Knock a couple times, nothing. So I hang out until I can photograph and leave. While I'm leaving dude texts me to hold on, and then I get all these complaints saying his order is bad. Why do they imagine I have any say over what's in their package?
