Capital One are threatening to begin sending me physical post because I'm not opening their spam emails fast enough
Apparently not reading their marketing emails on their schedule means I now get junk mail through my letterbox instead. Cheers for that. Someone else received the same email?

I like to collect junk mail, then sellotape a bunch together and pick one to "return to sender" and let them pay for the privilege of getting thier own junk mail back with lots of others also. After a while, they realise that its cost effective for them to remove you from th...
I’m going to start doing this. I bought a telly from Argos a few years ago and they kept asking me if I wanted their insurance. I said no but I guess the bastards passed my details along because on the second of every month without fail I get a letter from them saying it’s “no...
I got one last month. I ignored it. A week later, an envelope from Capital One showed up in the mail. I tossed it unopened in the recycle bin. Next day, another Capital One envelope. I binned that one as well. After five days of this nonsense, I tore the latest envelope in hal...
Personally I’m a fan of the monthly specsavers letters reminding me that my eye test is overdue because I went there once 5 years ago when I couldn’t get an appointment at my local opticians
My local optician is SpecSavers.
Specsavers borderline harass you these days! I was due my eye test recently I got: a text, an email, a call and a letter every week for a month. Booked my eye test. Then got a text and an email confirming my appointment. A reminder in both formats. Then another round of ...
Same here but it's 3 years since I used them. Tried to email there opt out address and it bounced saying no such address.
I only get one email a month, telling me "It's statement time", Opt out on the app under Marketing Permissions
I'm credit blacklisted pretty much, so havent seen a single email or physical piece of post from a credit card company for close to a decade now. I have around 15 years worth of CCJ's, and am still more than £1K in debt....
The real LPT is always in the comments.
Is £1k a typo? Surely it's worth sorting your debt out if its only that small. My credit is terrible but I've got a high interest car loan (don't ask, just know it makes sense in my specific situation), some old CCJs that I actually can't afford to clear, and no doubt some si...

Pets @ home still send me physical voucher books for my pet hamster, Ezzy. Ezzy died at the ripe old age of three, 8 years ago. She would be the oldest hamster ever
Yeah I've had that from them for a while
Interesting if it is just marketing, I could kind of understand if they had a legal obligation to write to you if you say had an ongoing debt that they were only trying to email you about. Companies that send all this physical spam it must be worth it to them despite the costs...
Hi there, Capital one is expends a vast amount of money on Post, email, text, tv, radio and all other types of advertising . More than any other Bank in the United States. that is a FACT. not a joke or a guess. Once on their list , it is almost impossible to get off. you can d...
