I have barely dropped off my wife and daughter at Bristol Airport. She asked if I might come into the terminal to build sure all went well with baggage checking in. Went back to the vehicle park and was mugged by the car park ticket machine for £13. They actually are taking the piss now.

I had to pay 6 pound for 0minutes parking. When using the supplied adres for the return lot for our rental at Edinburgh airport it directed us to the drop off area that was one way only. By the time we realised out mistake we had to drive through the car park and out the other...

This is a gated system where you can't exit without paying if you enter the carpark, so it's not about getting a PCN if you don't pay, you can't exit.

There’s free drop off parking at the silver car park. From there to the terminal is a free bus.
We paid £15 for 27 minutes at Southampton airport today, even pick-up/drop off is £7

Yep Im near Gatwick and its £10 just to drive up to the drop off zone without even getting out of the car.
Their drop-off is a scam as well. Next time, I’ll ask my wife to not stop the car, I’ll dive out while it’s moving to save myself the £7
As with most airports there's a free drop off location a short free bus ride away. You can park for 1 hour for free, 2 hours for £10. Or you can pay for the convenience of being closer to the airport where everyone wants to be. You made your choice, accept the consequences
