How to handle unexpected absences without chaos?
A major headache for me is dealing with same-day no-shows. Someone texts at dawn that they can't work and I'm scrambling to find a replacement. I've tested: keeping part-timers on standby for extra shifts, staggered scheduling, even paying bonuses for coverage. Some help, others don't. What system works for you? Do you have a reliable method or does it remain a scramble?
