I've never seen this issue before. Crank and no start with weird noise.

This is a 2013 Subaru Impreza Hatchback with the 2.0 Flathead engine. Engine was making an intermittent whining noise at high rpm's and then died on me at a stop. Engine wouldn't crank after that, just clicking. Replaced the battery and now this is what it does (see video). Any help is appreciated.
