We are the staff on their resort planet where they can do whatever they want and get away with it. They play war games, child sex games, and money schemes.
Yeah that's the part people miss. The country being rich on paper doesn't mean the average person feels any of it. If anything it just shows how concentrated the money actually is.

Those billionaires aren't just sitting on piles of cash. Their billions are in assets: commercial property, residential property, utilities, markets, stocks, natural resources. It's not like they can just hop on a plane and suddenly New Zealand is the richest country on earth....
