I audibly gasped when I saw this.
can’t imagine how many tags might must have to be printed

and the fact someone accepted it is just as crazy
did they really?! WOW
Audacity to pay $9.15 for all of that shit 😒
Can I ask a question? When I (a customer) do an Aldi order for pickup, is it the Aldi employee who picks it or is it an Istacart shopper with an offer like this? Usually the same person picks my order every week but isn't the same person who brings it out so I was just curious!
We don’t have curbside at the Aldi’s where I’m at.
In my area, if you order through the Aldi site for pickup, it is an Aldi employee that picks your order, not an Instacart driver.
Aldi’s uses their own employees to shop Instacart orders
trying to imagine any store having those quantities in stock...
They might but the better question is who's buying 16 bottles of Ketchup and 12 jars of Peanut Butter at a time? It's not like a school or business would be buying through InstaCart, they'd use a bigger distributor or something. Even if you had a lot of kids that seems insane....
The 24 cans of soup and 12 jars of PB are cases, they come from the distributor that way, and my aldi would have them in stock almost all the time...the customer is actually ordering in easily transportable quantities.
Usually pick up orders in aldi are shopped by an aldi employee.
When they have enough employees, sure
Damn this made me clutch my non-existent pearls
I don’t understand the shop only. They’re just not worth.
sometimes for me they are cause i live less than a minute from a store
My app has been glitched since I did the training and it still thinks I haven’t completed it 🫥 but I’ll say- there are SO many grocers near me that get orders constantly that if they get as many Shop Only orders, I’d be able to basically just… cycle orders and take sitting br...
That’s a crazy pay
This is the saddest order ever. Whoever this is fucking hurting.
This is giving group home vibes.
I'm not sure I am even gonna opt into shop only orders based on what I hear in here...
definitely opt in. you aren’t forced to accept them. once in a while they might be worth it!
Opt in, they bundle shop only and delivery in certain stores and they can be low count items and low mileage and can pay $35 for a total of 25 items for both orders and a 1/3 miles drive. It’s quick and easy money. I don’t do shop only but every once in awhile I’ll do a bundle...
That's just insulting! IC is wrong for even putting this on the app.
😂🤬😂🤬😂😂🤬🤬
That's nuts
🤮🤮
At least IC tells us the size. Doordash for these will literally just say 1 item. Also flat $2 + tips, so yeah, criminal on both systems LOL
Wow
I have never done a shop only order. Publix near me has these.
The tip is insulting but also the order itself is insane. Who needs that much stuff.
Crazy they don’t allow tipping.
WOW LMAO..... I wonder if anyone will shop this at all.
Best part is had that been a shop and deliver, probably would have paid LESS. Either way, just wow IC.
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh
😨
Please excuse my language, but not just no fuck no that is so inconsiderate
Did you grab the batch then?

I honestly cant even believe the store allows orders like this to be made, thats insane and probably takes so much space and time to move when its time for it to be picked up/delivered
TLDR at the bottom. Just the 12 bags of water softener salt is 480lbs. Let's do the whole row shall we? * 24 cans of soup - 15.6lbs * 3 misc items lets assume - 6lbs * 12 bags of water softener salt - 480lbs * 24 packs of ramen - 4.56lbs * 16 Easy Squeeze 1L bottles of ketc...
This was extremely well done. However, I believe that's 'Food Club Confectioners Sugar' (32oz/unit), not water softener salt. 2 lbs × 12= 24 lbs. It's an A+ for effort, though.
