I don't care that you're a non-working officer.

I'm a protection officer at the emergency room in a clinic. I have non-working police coming and pushing their identification in my face wanting to visit their family member. The procedures don't change because of the identification. Give me your picture ID so I can create you an entry permit and wait for me to accompany you there. When you are working and fully equipped that's a separate scenario for clear purposes. When you are non-working, put that identification in olive liquid and press it into your rectum.
