Caught this at my station in the lot as I was heading out on route. Do you reckon they are cooked?

If the driver didn't make it out in time then I'd reckon they're well done
Burnt to a crisp
well fired

Not* maintaining their vehicles lol
"Saw the DVIC. You aint report that shit. Preciate you. For that, we're willing to give you your last check without uniform. God speed, brother."
They would be quick to blame the drivers knowing it’s the DSP’s fault for neglecting and maintaining their vehicles
Quite literally possible. What the fuck could cause that? The back door looks blown off and the burns on the side look like they could've come from inside. Did they have unmarked leaking flammable HazMat and light a cig or something?
Not sure about its contents though, this just magically appeared in our lot overnight.
I think the back door is like that from the FD prying it open to extinguish the flames, I was able to peek in and saw the burnt totes and packages. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was from an engine issue.
Back when I was a driver, we had a Promaster light up just like that. The cause was shorted headlight wiring, those vans have electrical problems like crazy. https://preview.redd.it/5uza9alfg1pg1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c01e2b6572de19b001179ccb11dd...
Oh no, someone shipped without a battery warning sticker affixed.
My first thought was a China battery.
But did they finish their route?
Former Fleet Tech that fixed Amazon vans. We have seen this so many times, the biggest culprit is DSPs finding a blown fuse somewhere, then replacing it with a larger amperage fuse because “that would obviously fix it” then when the system would pop the fuse again….burns the ...
How much would it cost the DSP to have the van fixed for that by you guys?
Assuming this was not caused by an at fault wreck, and the vehicle caught on fire ... doesn't seem like the driver's fault. Of course I wouldn't be surprised if they get fired anyway.
Battery caused this
Literally
Probably a drug thing
Well done.
Don't know if those Ram ProMasters are still made by Mercedes, but I know the diesel Dodge/Mercedes Sprinters from 15 years ago were very prone to catching on fire.
The ProMaster is a Fiat with a Ram badge on the grill
Naw, bet they finished their route and even went to help a couple other drivers.
Omg wth
Beyond cooked
Zip ties and WD40 will fix that right up
looks overcooked.
It wasnt in my news so i think they escaped chat
Ghetto as fuck lol
Broiled maybe
The van definitely is
Literally
Totally drivable, my local DSP would fire you for not driving this

Deep fried
Did they deliver through an incinerator??
It quite literally looked like it.
Is this in orange, ct? I think I’ve seen this van before
Nah lol, TN
Some companies do that to collect the insurance money out company did insurance fraud allegedly
not cooked. toasted
Are they warm pink on the inside?
Yup just like my dsp Napa forgot to put a part in and my friend van started to catch on fire on his way to his route
Shoot, that van is cooked. Extra crispy
They’re not cooked but the van is 🚐
Turns out Amazon has a recall going on for these vans. There’s something with a radiator hose or something to do with the electrical. Basically though the vans are prone to spark into fire the longer they’re used
DSP’s: “This is what happens when you don’t turn your engine off after each stop!”
Burns are too low on the front that was definitely an engine area fire
Knowing how this sub is, I’m almost certain there a post on here that shows this on fire with the heading “am I fired?”
Why didn't they use their pee bottle to put out the fire?
Ram vans are junk. Ram/dodge/stellanis hadn't built something without electrical issues in decades.
Package will be delayed.
I’ll take my desial sprinters over these Rivians any day of the week.
Had to go pick a Driver up cause this happened to them out on route it was my day off came in to pick up something and boss was like hey can you go grab this person 1hr 30m drive later half barbecue truck and lone driver just looking lost burnt every bag and package in the bac...
Tbh the way that van looks it looks exactly the same way with the van that was at my station the entire front end was just burnt the sides of the van was melted and the rear doors where just dented and out of place like this in the picture and they where saying it’s was one of...
You in TN?
I’m sure they’re to keep the van up and running
What in the fallout wasteland happened to that van 😭
There’s more rumors circulating around the station about it than a high school locker room. Idek at this point.
😂😂😂😂😂
Hope they marked it on the DVIC...
only if they didnt get out
This brings a whole new meaning to burning out at work
Fried died and laid to the side
Make sure not to mark it on the app. We will let maintenance know. Don’t be late to load up…
Spittin the truth
Cooked? I mean its most likely an electrical fire. If it wasnt i hope whoever was in it wasnt there when it lit on fire. But my guess would be an electrical fire. Or maybe something engine component wise got to hot and lit something like a belt on fire or a hose and up it went.
Looks like the kind of vehicle you see in a nuclear wasteland or zombie apocalypse
They'll just put some new wheels and tires on it, make sure it starts and the brakes work, and figure out how to put the Amazon logo over the damage. Give it a week or two and it'll be back on the road. As for the employee... Fire with chance for rehire. 😂🤣
Nah dispatch is gonna have them finish the route, in that van too
Burnt to a crisp. Straight to ashes.
Crispy cooked
Rear tires still good
“You can still deliver the packages on foot. Don’t be late getting back” - Dispatch
I think it’s a warning to any driver. Especially the burnt bits. You know, cause your life is more important than those packages…yeah??
Oh hey I work here too
Quite literally cooked
