Every time I leave the house i steal a small piece of a car. A paint fleck, the little ball from the top of the antenna, a wiper blade. I plan on making my own car from all of these parts one day but they dont fit well together for some reason. I will persevere.

It's a very inexpensive plastic cover. Check some junkyards to see if they have a car in your color and pull it. You can even get them on Amazon for about $20 via 3rd party. Problem is they're usually unpainted or white. Hard to find new in colors. Although, unpainted and see...
It's a small enough part you could probably get away with a can of car hue specific spray paint at home. Possibly a second varnish layer.

That’s two, three or four hundred bucks for the factory part and “exact” color match paint and….. they pop right off if you have the same car and key for removing the lock cylinder cover per the owners manual. So there’s your answer.
It's funny to me that you say piece of door. I can tell just by ring this that you have no idea that the hidden key the keyfob that cana query rust now goes on this internationally removable part of your car door.
This happened to my dad. Some dude with the exact same car had parked next to him. The dude took it off to try and open the wrong car with his key as the fob wasnt opening it. Poor guy was mortified.

Those things pop off frequently where I'm from. Major changes in weather warp them or crack the cheap plastic they're made from.
Sometimes, when it comes to trim pieces or other external bits, people will just go around until they find a matching car in a store parking lot or whatever. Take the piece, off they go, and it saves a ton of money. You should just go that route, get a new piece.

Happened to me. Dealership wanted like $800 for a new one. Got one from china for like $7 shipped and the paint matches perfectly and it fit perfectly. Hasnt fallen off in 6 years
3D print a cover or hit a junkyard and upgrade your car alarm one that wirelessly locks/unlocks your door.
Call the local pick and pull ask them if they have your car in that color and ask how much for the key cover. Probably under $5 if you go there and pop it off your self.
