The average working person in America is 1,000 times closer to being homeless than they are to being somebody like Trump.
This is what they wanted though, it keeps the masses in fear that if they protest for even a day that they won’t be able to pay bills
Everyone has a paycheck to paycheck job….if you’re a worker, you get paid on some frequency and need that to survive. Sure, some people are more comfortable. But it’s not like people who are independently wealthy are out here working hourly jobs.

This is the one downside to the Dem strategy of split everything up and pass the other pieces but hold firm on homeland. People don't realize there is actually a government shutdown.

A permanent shutdown for the government would work wonders for the people. It's been proven time and time again that folks don't need the government and nothing good ever comes out of them.
It's a self-fulfilling prophecy for people who want it to fail. Cut funding, create inefficiencies, and then when it fails, or even mildly inconveniences people, folks like you go "see? It's useless!"
