So he's sick of these offices doing their jobs and telling him things are illegal? Yay, a purge.

This administration is made up of people that haven't been told no or seen consequences for their actions since they were kids, most likely. The concept of being held to legal principles is alien. It's all just red-tape and legalese some nerds put together to stop them from g...

Remember, service members: you are legally obligated to *not* follow illegal orders. Use it as a defense in court. The fart is president right now, but next year he’ll probably be impeached. Even if not, he’ll likely be dead soon (old and unhealthy) and there will come a re...

That's not really what's happening here. Disclosure: I used to be in Army JAG so I'm biased. Here's what he's proposing: >Letting civilian lawyers handle nonoperational assignments, including acquisition, civilian personnel, intellectual property, real estate, environmenta...

Claims military lawyers are sidelined doing civilian law work after sending 600 or so to the DoJ as temporary immigration judges. Moron.

Not to mention the litigation hes driving by encouraging commanders to deny religious waivers for beards in very clear violation of RFRA or how they fired so much of the civillians supporting the services

Agreed. Aside from that, clearly defining roles and responsibilities (the given reason for the change) typically improves quality and efficiency, but this restructuring sounds like it will add more ambiguity to the current military legal system and (as stated below) will incr...

He was definitely bullied while in the military and is mad at all the people who were actually competent.

Joke’s on him. The Legal offices are already way understaffed as it is. No attorney does this work because it pays well. They do it out of civic duty, and cutting them loose is going to get the DoD sued a LOT more than it currently is.

I didn’t think this dip💩would make it more than a year. Sadly, I was very wrong. It’s going to take a long time to fix was this domestic terrorist has done to the military. I can’t write what I wish for his future.
