Center support pillar in this finished basement on the verge of failure

only bought this house a year ago and after an unforeseen leak, i discovered that when this cellar was finished a few years ago, they wrapped the main bearing beam. I doubt that it looked intact at that time. The leak i had was also the result of the previous owners cutting corners in the wet bar, plumbing the drain not at all to code. Edit: i love the focus on the words near failure. This is a reddit post not a professional inspection report.
