A police ride crashes into a house

Cumberland Police by the looks of it. Poor bloke just lost part of his house in one of the most expensive cities on earth. It's guaranteed to be about $1.5 million. Hope he has insurance. That said, at least it was only the front that fell off. Edit: Found this in anothe...
I would assume the police department has to pay.... Or more accurately us taxpayers pay for their mistakes.
it's a nice house in Merrylands. Probably 2M
towed it outta the environment
Second time the police crashed in to their house? I'm sorry but I found that amusing. I am sure they don't.
There used to be a house in Germany that kept getting hit by cars around a bend.
The report is very clear that it was the car that crashed into the building, not the police! 😇

They need to install a few of these
this is literally the first time i saw that gif resolve thank you kind stranger
I don't know what laws are in Australia but I would suspect the house should yield to lights and sirens
Owner of the house has been fined for negligent house ownership
Can’t park there mate
Came here for this.
“When the vehicle left the road” do they mean when the person driving it crashed ….
I was just talking to my 9th grade daughter about not using passive voice in her writing and went looking for examples. Almost every example I came across involved police officers doing something bad, mostly shootings, but I guess I can add “crashing into people’s homes” now too.
Police speak is so dumb it's hilarious. I work in the criminal legal system and for awhile one of the big police departments, instead of saying "there were 3 individuals in the car" would say "the vehicle was occupied 3 times." For like 2 years every report was written this wa...
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile And you may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"
Same as it ever was.
I’d make them pay for it, and then pay for bollards along the road.
Then when someone dies instead of crashing through the house the victim's family will sue the homeowners rather than accept the fact the victim put themselves in the situation
Disappointed not a single person uttered "can't park there mate". I honestly expected more from you Australians
I have good news

Oh no, my foyer with my valuable Rembrandts and 13th dynasty Ming collection! Not to mention the extensive Persian rugs.
Not on the rug, man!
I like where you're going with this
Call the cops Oh wait
Fastest they've ever been on scene. Everybody is in shock.
TWICE?! What the fuck?
Time for tactical stones in the front yard
Clearly this is hoon behaviour and car must be impounded for 30 days and fine the driver a bazillion dollars and 6 demerit points and six months suspension.
If I were this homeowner, I would be looking at investing in retractable bollards on my driveway. Let the police wrap themselves around those a few times and leave my damn house alone.
Buh.. eh, how do you do that *twice?*
I was going to say it was an over reaction, but its the SECOND time
It looks like loss of traction on the corner due to the painted pedestrian crossing.
looks like a lego house
They both are made of bricks!
I bet the police officer driving that car gets at least 1 week paid suspension. That'll teach him, right?
Him?
we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing. the house jumped out infront of us.

Can’t park there mate
Might want to put up a big strong gate to prevent it happening for a third time...

My dad was a cop and back in the early 90’s he did this same thing to a nursing home. Right through the wall. Luckily no one was injured.
Pretty sure if this was in the US that car would have gone through the house and out the other side.
Then they would have arrested the owners for resisting...
Nsw only state that requires a bachelor in policing 🤷

Car is mostly good so that’s cool
imagine calling the cops for help and they crash into your house instead! Talk about a major plot twist. 😂
The homeowner should be sure to obtain a police report.
Nepotism hire for sure
Is this recent, or something dredged up from a decade or more ago?
It’s a best seller
I didn’t realize Isuzu still made cars.
*You have reached your destination*

"When the vehicle left the road" Classic passive voice.
Embarrassing for the officer.
Bollards!
Racing a hilux like a car.. they could have killed someone.
Clearly an Isuzu 🤦🏻♂️
It will buff right out. 😂
That poor couple are getting tazered and will likely spend some time in prison.
The house owners need to get an electric gate.
Driving a pickup with a camper, like an it's an interceptor and then the understeer hits.
“I don’t feel safe anymore”. And the Oscar goes to….
Yeah bit dramatic.
rookie
Cannot wait to hear how this is the home owners fault. Not in the U.S.? Disregard.
Install decorative Pollards.
Power parking
You can tell it’s not America because they don’t get out with guns drawn and arrest the people they crashed into.
The right rear door flying open though.
It was a police demonstration on the dangers of speeding.
My blck azz would’ve broke camp in 2024… Deuce’s ✌🏽
Its your garage and you dont feel safe anymore? Way to play it up for the cameras..
First on the scene.
Those cops think they can Park everywhere, right?
I didn't know they still made isusus
The triangle?
Having a house at the edge of a sharp turn must be a very frustrating experience
Time for them to up their revenue raising tactics. Gotta pay for it somehow…
At least it wasn't american-built lol
Again?
can’t park there mate.
Well, time to move.
They ran into their house twice now??!! I would just move at this point.
Who's buying the old house/lot with that history?
Imagine the abuse the driver will get from his/her colleagues
Holy crap this was the second time this has happened to these people!
Australia 🤡
You can’t park there mate
It's the 2nd time I suspect the homeowner married the cops ex gf. The cop is taking revenge.
Ohhhhhh. That's going cost the government a bit...... 🤣🤣🤣
Looks like they may need a little more driver training
You cant park there mate.
And of course, it was a Ute! Even police “trained” drivers lose the plot the second they get behind the wheel of one. Our house got hit by a nurse in a hilux a couple of years ago🤣
The Hilux is a horrible driving car, absolutely no surprise people fuck up in them
Twice?!?
Was the cop rushing to the scene of an overturned donut truck?
Fool me twice...
It would be so funny if it was the same cop.
You can't park there mate
Back to driving school for this police officer
Somebody needs to take this guy's license, as a police officer you are expected to be a driving professional, even when lights and Sirens are involved you still have to weigh the lives of pedestrians and overall safety against speed, I hope it's a while of courses before this ...
Did anyone inform the officer that they couldn’t actually park there…
Don’t worry, the Council will come issue them a fine for parking in a clear way.
TWIDE?!!!!!! 😆😆
New front of house on the city 🤞🤞
Needs to get some of the LARGEST BOULDERS IMAGINABLE, and place them in front of the house.
I don't answer questions.
Same house gets crashed back in 2024? You got an excuse now- cash it in baby.
Is that one of those shallow speed bump/crossings we have here in Aus?
Given its the second time I’m very curious where they live, I wonder if they’re around a corner and the police are speeding to a call and they round it and their house is there and they can’t slow down in time
This is the second time this has happened to them in 2 years btw.
Power & the electricity is off. Rough. 🤣
The car didn't leave the road, they drove to fast and subsequently crashed.
Can’t park there mate
Can't park there mate.
Is there speculation about why this police force is determined to demolish this family house via battering ram?
Time for some hefty bollards out front.
Just curious do the police fix that or does that poor pay for it?
uncharacteristic thought, but I do kinda wonder if the coppers are okay, that was a fair smash
Well that’s just hoon behaviour. Impound the vehicle, loss of licence. Corrective driving school too I guess. When will this darn kids learn.
Did the homeowner get arrested at least? /s
That will biff right out. No worries.
Power and electricity is off ??
Police:
Police have crashed into their twice, apparently.
There’s a restaurant in I think it’s Bracebridge, Ontario that had been crashed into repeatedly. They’re just to the left (if you’re facing it) of the T intersection at the bottom of a hill. There’s a stop-sign at the bottom of the hill but people seem to ignore the stop-sign…...
actually, the restaurant is in Thornbury, Ontario…

Poor fuckin m8 got his piss ruined
You can’t park there mate
Hey! You can't park there!
You know this isn't in the USA because they weren't arrested for obstruction.
Oh no! Is the house ok?
Narrarator - "No. No it was not." (Digitally enhanced sad house face appears onscreen) (camera slowly zooms in)
You can't park there mate!
Oh damn sorry bout your house mate Anyway here's a bill for the damage to our cars And a fine for not moving your house out of the way of an energy vehicle Good luck tho
Should have smoked the stash *after* confiscation.
Something something park here something.
Smartest cop
And Trump wants to give him a million dollar. Disgraceful
Can't park there mate.
Wouldn't happen if you stop painting your house to look like a road.
Acab
“damage so severe they could not stay in the home all night” it looked plenty fine to stay in 🙄
Apart from all the structural damage, I guess? 🫠🫠
She doesn't feel safe anymore? What does she think is going to happen next?
They claimed ‘unliveable house’ it’s the garage that got hit……they live in the garage??!????
That kind of impact can destabilize a lot. The garage took the most damage but the force didn’t just stay contained to just that part of the structure. Houses are sturdy but after a car going that fast crashing into it you need to check everything. If the structural integrity ...
He said they turned off the gas and electricity, presumably the water too, until an inspection can confirm that none of those internals got busted by the car. It sucks to break the garage but it sucks a lot more to bust a pipe running under the garage and flooding the foundation
