Why would you keep water inside your pool. At below freezing temperatures?
Ex Pool Retailer: You do not want to drain your pool during winter. The pressure of the water keeps the walls up (yes there is bracing as well) Most owners will drain their pool below the skimmer. If they do not, they can plug the skimmer and return jets.
Next time it snows, I’ll drain it just for you
