This is the question right here. There's something happening between them making the interview appointment and them ghosting you that's causing that reaction. Sounds like this response may not be the company's first internet red flag.
Definitely sounds like a them issue. Someone doesn't understand that *both* sides need to agree on a time before scheduling an interview. If you just send a random calendar invite, then 80% probably aren't showing up.
