Gas has been over $4 where I live, for a while. (Seattle area)
WA state only has 5 refineries and it's far from the gulf of mexico where most of the refineries are. So that's why the west coast tends to be more expensive for gas. Local taxes also impact it and Conservatives and MAGA love to blame the prices solely on those taxes, b...
Ay Portland has been sitting around $3-3.50 for a while. The local shell and chevron are at $4.30 and $4.69 respectively. It’s gonna get a lot worse too!

I have honda fits. Not as painful. Trying to limit the long drives I usually do. Use free delivery services like Amazon walmart plus and CVS extracare. Somethings gotta give. Use the system you're already paying for.

Yeah gas has gone up nearly 60 cents per gallon where I live (Midwest) since last week. We’re on track to hit $4/gal by this weekend at current pace.
*weeps in Midwest premium*. Thankfully, I only need to fill up like once a month. I have a work van, so I rarely get to drive my car, except on weekends. It's a small car, with a small motor and a smallish tank, but yeah, glad I just filled up last week.

Picking up a MachE Thursday. With the INSANITY with Venezuela oil and now Iran and the blocking of the straight. I am happy to have chosen my next car as an EV. Yes it’s used and has over 100,000 klm on it. Battery is at 93%. But I will never miss going to a gas station.

Where the hell is gas less then 4$ right now. I would like to move there. Since I'm assuming if gas is less then 4$ then everything else in that area is also cheaper like rent and food.

$4?! We in Chicago are approaching $5, and as I understand it, Wisconsin is past $4 too… if the price of Brent Crude hits $200 a barrel; we are looking at $7-10 a gallon in the USA, and €5 per liter.
