(driver is not disabled btw).

That picture would seem to indicate otherwise.
Not physically. Mentally is questionable
I beg to differ.
Do you know them personally? Disabilities are not always visible.
The post has nothing to do about the person being disabled. Even with the handicap plate or placard you cannot double parked in the straight No parking area between handicap spots.
yup. drivers my mom
what about the passenger?
Clearly 550 lbs.
Bad parking will \*always\* be bad parking. But, I hate to be that guy, but not every disability is visible. Some days I need my cane all day, others I can limp along without it for spurts (I still bring it to work with me, in case I do end up needing it). I have friends who a...
Even people with non visible disabilities who are allowed to park in a disabled spot have disability cards on the windshield
It's so bad that my husband will use his even when he'd be okay to limp around. He usually uses carts as walkers so he doesn't need it as much as the grocery store, but a lot of places aren't really set up for it (tiny carts, no carts, carts that, essentially, are not the righ...
i hear what you’re saying about not every handicap being visible, however the hang tag or license plate should be (and i suspect OP is saying that no handicap signage was visible). EDIT: nevermind! found OP’s description of the situation buried in a comment
Are you sure about that?
The picture tells a different story.
Well, they did buy a Nissan
How do you know... my family has physical mobility issues/ disability but you'd not know it by looking at us.
But you probably have disability cards on the windshield right?
Yep...good friend has a serious heart issue. Cannot physically walk real long distances without a break. She's 32 and pretty so people assume she's an asshole when she steps out of her car looking perfectly healthy...
hey guys i thought this would be funny to post cuz my moms like very very very bad at parking. my BROTHER (7yr) is disabled. he has autism and the reason we have disabled parking spot accs is because its a serious safety hazard because one second ofusnot looking he will run of...
she also fixed it after i took a picture 👍
I believe there is a way to pin your comment to the top so people will understand the situation before calling you insensitive.
Bro have you heard of punctuation and how the lack of it makes what you are trying to say incomprehensible, or at best, like you're 12?
Wouldn't matter if they were. It's still illegal to park over those striped loading zones, even with a handicap placard or plate. That striped area is a loading zone for a ramp or lift for the handicap spot to its left. Parking like that means someone with a ramp or a lift can...
Really don't think the way this person parked is any of your business. If the are needing space for a chair, now the passenger side is possible. I park this way all the time, and yes, I'm disabled. Have the plate on my car, and hanger in my girlfriendwifes car. Never had anyon...
They have a placard and even if they olympic sprinted into the store, that doesn’t negate a disability that takes extended exertion to affect them.
Immaturity about your brother aside, this is an obnoxious way to park because the hashed area is usually for *both* spots, and parking like this may interfere with someone who has mobility issues getting into or out of the car in the next spot.
Maybe they’re blind?
Did they have a placard? I have an invisible disability, and I have a placard. Maybe I don't look disabled, but I need to be able to park close by because it's hard for me to walk. Some days I move better than others. That being said, that's a crappy parking job.
Stop covering up these peoples tags bruh
Why? Covering it up protects the privacy of whoever is driving this car.
Edit to add: Nevermind, I see that’s your mom’s car. I’ll allow it this once
When there’s no time to park correctly, there’s always time for a tow…
With all the cameras cars have today, there's really no excuse for parking like a jackass. Disability or not.
If passenger is disabled they may need additional space to egress/ingress the car. Source: my dad is old and needs a walker. We need a lot of room for him to get in & out
That’s why you back into this spot.
How do you know that they don't have a handicap?
He bout to be!!!
If they have a hang tag or plate it’s not up to you to decide disability. Otherwise they park like an AH.
Well, about that
The vehicle needs to be disabled.
That driver is definitely disabled you just cant see it.
They have a handicap... coupon? And the reason those spaces have room on the side is because they may need assistance getting in or out. If they were on the right side of the car and the driver had to help them out then this is how to correctly use the space.
He wants to become a disabled.
A lot of folks have intellectual or developmental disabilities (I/DD) that don’t present visually as a disability. You really know nothing just because your eyes show you something. Unless they physically told you.
Might be mentally disabled…..or just entitled.
Are they half disabled?
Clearly they have a disability lol
Did anyone check their tires?
Not physically at least
I bet he'd be towed before he was done shopping
Disabled between the ears
Never make assumptions about whether a driver is disabled. There are a wide variety of ways to be disabled, not all obvious. And there are a variety of ways for the car to indicate this status, some of which you may not know. Call the cops if you are suspicious otherwise just ...
Was the license plate covered in person too?
Should be
At least not physically.
Perhaps stupidity should be considered a disability. Or maybe just the entitlement of "I'm only going to be here for a couple of minutes".
There is a disability tag on the windshield.....they could be transporting someone using the tag. Perfectly legal but they need to park straight
Passenger may have been. They parked so you could get someone out easier. How do you know the driver wasn't handicap?
If the passenger needs space to get out, then you back in. You don't encroach into the space for handicapped access for the car next to you.
