Dear weak- ass parents: Only because you allow your child(ren) talk to you like you’re a side character in their TikTok villain arc doesn’t mean I’m accepting that energy in my classroom

I check disrespect. Every time. I had one parent email and say their child is just “expressive”. No ma’am. They’re expressive with premium disrespect, and that’s why I sent his ass out of my classroom. For the those that think I’m doing too much? Maybe. But if your kid speaks to their future boss the way they speak to teachers, their “villain origin story” is going to be stocking shelves while muttering about injustice. We are educators, not emotional punching bags. Edit: One time I had a kid start raising his voice, and I straight up went “who you think you talking to??” black- mom mode Edit 2- after some reflection, I was wrong to take a jab at shelf stockers like that.
