They haven’t started here yet but in the morning you’ll get pre made labels from your dispatch for any customer returns on your route. When you pick up the package you slap the label on it and RTS them at the end of the route. They will supposedly be sprinkled into your norma...
We just started them. Hasn’t been a problem except for one stop. A Whole Foods that takes returns. I had it once so far, 30 large cube boxes, saved it for my last stop because it basically took all my shelf space. I was told that’s a light day. There’s was a 60+ box pick up th...
Just like how when they upped the package weights and those will only be sprinkled in as well lol.
No customers seem to use them. We have had them for 6 months & I have done two unattended pickups. Shit is light work, pick up instead of put down package, 👋 a label on that package 📦 , scan and throw it in the van. Much better then OTPs.
I guess customers being able to drop it off at whole foods, staples, Kohls and countless other stores wasn’t enough. 🤣Amazon really just wants their customers to be the laziest people in the world 😭
Amazon used to do this for years before the store drop offs. It’s not even new for Amazon.
It's fuxkin ridiculous. Do we get a pay raise for this bullshit? Of course not fuck you amazon.
Ups has been doing it for a long time nothing new just new to amazon
I've had them for a while, 90% of the time it's oversized too

I’d really hate to bring back a mf bed frame or sum shi like that😭
I believe customers pay extra for the pickup so I imagine it’s always going to be oversized.
So I have seen this happen before. They give you a system to follow. They make the rules and how your route is. They also give you a system hard to do. Is it made for failure??? Cause this will be one of the times when they will be bugging the crap out of dispatch asking why a...
I feel what your saying🤣
Well if it's anything like the passwords it'll be: Customer : " pick up? Pick up? What pickup? Oh he's not home. Let me try calling him. Hold on, he's not answering. Let me try his other number.....left it here somewhere....."
Mostly for XL
Ours started a few weeks ago… get the barcode slips in our bags
Honestly I'd be kinda happy if we did this, as long as it was accounted for in the routes and Amazon didn't just add pickups on top of the 200+ stops we get already, although I'm not from US so we knock and wait to hand parcels over anyway
You have to hand deliver every single package? Is that true for mail as well? Is package theft really that big of a deal over there or is it just customary?
It’s counted as a stop in the US.
This better be a DSP only thing. I ain’t doin it on flex lol
I thought SWA routes were specifically designed for this.
SWA routes are mainly for business pick ups, which also might not be in the area you're dropping packages off. I've had pickups from 3 different cities 30 minutes away from each other. Since they started with it last year, I've only just had a house pick up on a SWA a week ago...
So we rolled out pickups March 10, at my station. Confirm the parcel pickup because there has already been a mistake and another carrier's package was accidentally picked up (and returned). The Flex app glitches this out on iPhone. If you're having trouble, stay at the...
Hopefully customers learn to write “Amazon return” on the return package and leave it on their front porch. I’ve only had one so far, and I had to knock and get the package from the customer.
I don't get how they even allow that to be possible. When you're delivering a package, there's only one barcode / QR that's acceptable, the one of the package you need to deliver. Without that code, it literally will not let you proceed with the delivery because you do not ha...
I’m not sitting waiting for 10 minutes idk what they’re thinking
I was wondering about returns last week too🤔 I get a few customers every so often ask if I can take a package back. Was told to say a specific driver would be designated to pick up and it's not me since I don't have the notification. I hope they have Amazon flex pick these up...
Yea…no thanks. I’ll pick up from the lockers but this is an absolute time killer..

Fuck that 😒 3 years in I’m about done with this shit
This isn't a surprise to some of us. Word came down about a year and a half ago, at least, that this was in the works and would roll out eventually.
I guess people are too lazy to drive to their nearest Kohl’s
How much do you want to bet that scumbag customers will find ways to lie and claim they gave us a package they never did and try to put the blame on us for their scam bullshit?
I feel the way Amazon could counter that is that they give us stickers of our own to use for these pickups
My XL station been doin this for years.
I did one at a house last week. Dispatch gave me a couple QR code purple stickers. Scanned one that I stuck to the item at location and done. Amazon returns are a pain in the ass so they made it easier (for the customer). Business pick ups blow. Was just like at FedEx, on...
Wow!!!
I thought this was always a thing? I haven't done it in a while, but I used to do this all the time about a year ago
Love how they keep adding these responsibilities for the drivers while keeping the routes just as heavy as the holidays. Yet most only get 50 cent raises every year if they're lucky.
this is nothing new...
My station is just now getting them supposed to start next week bud
