£1.50 to Add Air to My Tires. Really?

I always visit the same station because they have an automated pump so it's somewhat easier. The fee was 50p before which seems reasonable. They've installed a modern all-in-one air, water, cleaning machine that takes card payments. Nearly dropped dead seeing the price but it was raining, school pickup time so wasn't going to drive looking for something more affordable. Jerks.
