If minor street pooling is hitting your basement you have bigger problems. This like a 30 times a year rainstorm in my area. Not uncommon for 8-11" of rain here in one four hour period.
Our whole street and sewer system is supposedly being redone next year. Theres 2 sink holes on our street and if the wind is blowing off erie to hard it blows water back up the sewers lol.
Find the drain and clear that sucker lol
That drain is working overtime, find it and save the basement
It’s the area that is bubbling in the center.
It's clearly right there in the center 😂
Congrats on the new indoor pool unfortunately located in the worst possible room.
*sewage* pool. Sorry OP, hopefully your city will take care of this soon!
Lakefront Property
What's funny is lake erie is 7 houses to the left lol.
Time to call post10!
Yes!
So nice of you to slow down the flooding for your neighbors. <3
Eh can we see your basement then?
I would hunt down the storm drain and clear it. Who neighborhood would appreciate you
Theres no clearing anything. The drains are collapsed and were 7 houses from lake erie. New street and drains next year supposedly though. Fingers crossed.
So the US government won't sort out basic infrastructure, or update your antiquated sewage, drainage and electrical systems, but they will spend $895 billion on defence?
"Defense" Eta for clarity: that money is being wasted on high casualty theatrics, not defending our citizens. Sorry any confusion.
Look on Google Maps and find a street drain there and then go unclog it lol
Its collapsed storm drains going to lake erie. Theres nothing to clear. New street and sewers coming next year supposedly.
It's so much easier than I what I did a few weeks ago... At least this is water instead of ice.
Good tip on using Google streetview.
Where's post10 when you need him?
I didn't see a palm so it's not Fort Lauderdale. We're waiting for backflow valve on the storm drains. People on the water have to raise their seawalls by 4' I heard. (It ain't me!)
Ooh the city needs to fix their drains..
Why I'm so grateful to live at the top of a hill.
Is that Dearborn heights???
Close, Toledo
That’s a big hassle to clean and drain.
The bubbles are coming from a sink hole in the street. All the neighbors are coming home now on their lunches in panics.

Somebody unclog the drain!
I feel it. The basement of the previous house I was in would flood every time it rained. Two sump pumps couldn't keep up. A few times a year, the washer, dryer, and furnace would have to be repaired or replaced. When looking for a new house (and deciding on one not far away), ...
Honestly you and your neighbors should sue the city over this.
The news was just here talking to all the neighbors.
Oh hey, that was me back in December!! Except I don’t have a basement. That sucks real big. I’m sorry you’re living it now. ☹️
Wow
Reflux valve needed
Congratulations, you've been upgraded to a condo with a private swimming pool! /s
Tell your town to tell public works to get their money worth and get to it!!!
