Not my trouble
I was planning on being great and taking it there then when I asked if her companion can arrive to the parking lot so I’m not walking all over the damn campus and I was given a “no” lmfao, order was left wherever I felt such as it at that point

People really do not seem to understand the concept of "we, the drivers, don't get to choose when the order is delivered!"
And you retards don't seem to understand that we, the customers, are choosing a specific delivery time in the app and have no way of knowing how your shitty little app works on your end. There is zero reason whatsoever for me to have an option to have a delivery window of 6PM-...
I’ve got an order scheduled to arrive at 12 rn. It’s gonna arrive while I’m still in my meeting. Annoying but told the guy just to leave it outside. I’ll just put it in the microwave when my meeting is over Like how hard is that for most people?
We don't understand how you can be such a prick.
I can completely understand the driver's side of this. We cannot control when the order is dispatched to us. When we get the order we start the delivery process. Simple. I can sort of understand the customers side of it when an order is scheduled for a certain time. I've pe...
Yeah, I’ve had multiple customers tell me that they’d requested a specific time window and I was way early. I had to explain that we’re not given that info (not that I would intentionally drag my feet to meet the window even if they did, because it’s not my fault DD sent it ou...
Yeah I can get the customer being annoyed but their actions and annoyances are misplaced. That's got nothing to do with the driver. Call support and get it handled. I've had customers tell me the same thing when I'm doing grocery delivery. No I'm not sitting around for 30 mi...
There can even be differences with the store. Some places, where it's just a pick up, have told me that their system says it's not even being worked on yet because it was scheduled for hours later. At least each time that's happened support has removed me from the order with h...
I laughed a lot at "I won't be waiting for you to get there." It sounds exactly like what I would say.
It's annoying of the customer to ask you to wait, but doordash as a platform honestly just needs to stop offering scheduled deliveries if it's not set up to handle them properly. It shouldn't even be assigning drivers until an hour prior to the scheduled time.
Whenever a customer says they scheduled an order for a certain time it’s usually with a stacked order for me. DoorDash has been pretty good about making their leg delivery the last part and me arriving at the time they requested.
Exactly. People schedule deliveries because they need them available at a specific time. If the orders are not ever available at that time, it defeats the purpose. Every time I’ve had a scheduled delivery, it arrives earlier than what I scheduled it for and I have to scramble ...
DoorDash isn’t really equipped to offer anything with any consistency to anyone. It doesn’t offer enough pay to demand standards, so it coerces you into shitty deals to subsidize the people who won’t really bid to compensate for the crap pay. It can’t guarantee someone will pi...
I honestly don't understand why DD offers "scheduled delivery" times and just ignores it completely right away.
😭😭 I’m curious where you ended up leaving it lmao
Right her dorm hall where she wanted originally. Sent her a picture she’ll find it. Already spoke to support before hand so that’s what they told me to do
Hmm, if I scheduled an order for a certain time and it arrives when I'm not even there I'm going to be mad. Now I know that the company, for some reason, gives customers a FAKE option for delivery time. Does this also mean drivers who know they won't get it there in the deliv...
Yeah, as a driver we wouldn't know what drop-off time the customer requested. DD just needs to stop offering scheduled delivery. Either that, or only offer like an hour window rather than a specific time.
I’ve had a few orders where people scheduled out and were upset about me being early to receive the order. Honestly could see how that would be annoying in certain scenarios. So I just call support tell them the customer is upset the delivery is outside their window and they ...
I was in a Dominos the other day waiting for a dash, and another dasher was there for an order. They told him it was scheduled for later in the day, and that other dashers had already been in, for it. What happens? An hour later I get another Dominos order, and it's the same s...
I too am curious where this delivery ended up...besides in your stomach lol 😂
Lmfao it was a target grocery order 3 backs and a soda 12 pack. Left right where she originally asked
I know where that is! I don’t know if I’ve ever seen something local on here! Sorry they gave you trouble!
Not DD but Roadie gave me some BS. They had a luggage delivery set for signature requested. When I arrived to find out they went out to the beach 2 hours away 😂 they were trying to yell saying I’m the rude one when I literally need a signature and nobody wants to take owner...
I’m sure it seems logical to the customer that you can get a scheduled delivery. In truth the DD system doesn’t work. There’s not any way to do it. I picked up a $35 order for 4 miles and sure enough there’s a message saying deliver at a later time. There’s no way to do it. I ...
I mean I understand the frustration but it’s DDs fault not the drivers. If someone schedules an order DD shouldn’t have it available to go pick up until the scheduled time. Otherwise what’s the point of being able to schedule it? Lol
Lol...college students are ridiculous. Leave it near the entrance and move on with your day ✅

Had an Uber eats order like this but it was the restaurant's fault. Showed up for an order that was 45min drive away and the restaurant owner looked at me stupid. She then SHOWED me the ticket where it said driver pick-up "4:45". IT WAS 4:45. I guess bc the "delivery" said 5:4...
Sarah didn't understand you were trying to help her out. Trying to work with ppl so they get their stuff, only to be hit with a hard "no." Okay, well then figure it out on your own, Sarah 😂
🤣🤣🤣 she said no I laughed and just thought ok that’s how you want to play this huh
College students are the worse. I generally drive late at night and when i get this type of order, it is usually meet at door with no access code. Abs if it is early morning, thru are likely sleeping while I'm waiting at the door of the dorm. Oh and very low to no tips!
The entitlement is real
Reminds me of that time during the pandemic that I wasn’t feeing well. I ordered instacart, scheduled it for THE NEXT DAY, and took a nap. By the time I woke up from my nap, the driver was 5 minutes away and had replaced almost everything in the order after I had put “do not r...
You're both in the wrong, the customer should not be asking you to wait but the way you respond is very unprofessional, you're talking like you're talking to a friend or something, even the title of this post, it's just..off
If I'm set to be somewhere at a certain time, this is why I schedule my order for an hour after, lol. That way if I'm running late, that's fine. If I get there on time, cool now I'm ready. It is my fear of the DD driver saying they're going to be 15 minutes early and they'll b...
As a dasher, it’s appalling to me the amount of people on the dasher’s side. The lady had a scheduled delivery. The app glitched or it was Doordash’s fault. Make other arrangements and be a human being.
I tried. She demanded me walk through campus instead of the friend coming to get her shit. She just didn’t want her stuff bad enough
Order would've been dropped off in my stomach foh
To
This why I ignore mfs
Some customers do come up with ridiculous requests. Similar situation at a large resort and the customer refused to meet me in the lobby and provided no further instructions other than she left her car unlocked and gave me the tag number wanting me to navigate an enormous par...
It was clear she didn't understand the situation when she said "you will have to wait a bit." Nope, don't have to do that at all, Sarah. Next time consider using your manners, Sarah.
She wants you to loose an hour of pay to wait for her and not get a tip from her lol
I’ll never understand people that order delivery when they are going to be in their car within the delivery window lol
Based on the messages, the customer scheduled it for a certain time and for some reason the dasher was on their way with the order ahead of that time.
Poor time management is generally my thought. Otherwise idk
“please do not be arriving before 6 pm.” Don’t ORDER before 6PM dumb@$$
Pretty sad when Cumandshitguzzler is more reasonable than you
Do you understand what a scheduled delivery means?
Yeah, how dare someone expect Doordash to schedule the delivery at the scheduled time?
"The door code is 3594. Do not ring the buzzer. Come to the third floor and when you get off the elevator take a right and walk to the end of the hall. I have a pink and yellow wreath on the door. DO NOT KNOCK". Your delivery is in the lobby. I'm not walking up three flights...
When people ordered pizzas back when, do you think the pizza guy left the food anywhere other than to the person?
